Gardener in Pelion
We look after the gardens, olive groves and plots of holiday homes all over Pelion — including while you are in Athens or abroad.

Many houses in Pelion open only a few weeks a year. Meanwhile, nature keeps going: ferns, brambles and self-seeded trees take over the terraces, branches rest on the roof and the grass grows knee-high. We take care of the garden and the land so the house is ready when you arrive and stays safe while you are away.
Pelion has its own challenges: steep slopes, dry-stone walls, narrow cobbled paths with no vehicle access, dense growth, and olive, chestnut and fruit trees that need regular pruning. We work with modern equipment, take care around terraces and walls, and remove all the cuttings.
If you are not in the area, we keep in touch by Viber, WhatsApp or email: you send photos or arrange access for a site visit, you receive a written quote with no obligation and, once the work is done, before and after photos.
We work in the mountain villages above Volos and on the eastern side of Pelion, as well as in the coastal villages along the Pagasetic Gulf and in South Pelion. If your village isn’t listed, just ask.
Many plots are terraced, with dry-stone walls and tight access. We cut back the growth carefully around the stonework without damaging it, and carry the cuttings out to wherever they can be loaded.
In Portaria, Makrinitsa or Hania, spring arrives later than in the coastal villages. We time pruning, mowing and clearing to the altitude, so each job is done at the right moment.
Houses surrounded by dense vegetation need a clear zone around them before summer. We remove dry grass, brambles and low branches, thin out shrubs near the walls and keep branches well away from the roof.
The most common request is holiday home maintenance: clearing the plot, mowing and pruning, with visits before and during the season. Olive grove care follows — pruning, spraying and the autumn harvest — along with firebreaks around houses set among trees and scrub, where dry summer vegetation is a real risk.
For holiday homes, villas and Airbnbs, even when you are away.

Yes. Tell us when the house opens and we will have the plot cleared, the grass cut, the pruning done and, if needed, the terraces and patios pressure-washed beforehand. For holiday rentals we can also agree regular visits during the season.
Yes. We prune, spray and clear the ground in olive groves, and we also take on the harvest in autumn. Around holiday homes we often combine olive care with garden maintenance.
